It's great when people take the trouble to drop me a line. This is some of the feedback: there is now also a Reviews tab on my Facebook page

"Having used several of Gary Eason’s ‘Flight Artworks’ images in a couple of my publications –  Dambusters and D-Day RAF, and in various publications for the Official Royal Air Force Memorial Flight Club – I have seen first-hand not only the brilliant final products of his work, but also the process and research that goes into his images. From my point of view as a pilot for the last 43 years and a RAF fighter pilot for 30 years, the realism he captures is uncanny, starting with the backgrounds, the skies and the light, and then in the detail of the aircraft that are the subjects.

"It is as if the quality of a modern digital camera was there at the actual wartime event, in a ‘photo-ship’, all those decades ago. The superb detail and accuracy in his images are the result of Gary’s extensive research and his desire to get history right, to accurately represent the actual event; I applaud his desire to make it so. Not surprisingly, most of the airborne action of World War Two was not captured on camera; now we can view images of some of those scenes as if they were original but in full colour and splendid digital quality."

"Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my new Winter Ops Canvas Print! It's simply awesome! I developed a massive love for WW2 Aircraft after living near RAF Coningsby for 15 years and entertaining at all the bases throughout Lincolnshire over those years as I was a professional musician/entertainer, I've met lots of very interesting aircrew from the old days and have heard very many interesting stories from these true legends. Made my day today when my sister visited and couldn't take her eyes off of my new canvas saying it was very beautiful and the scenes perfect and fits in well with Christmas approaching! I will be in touch again when I can make my mind up which print to purchase next!"

"My son bought me three of your prints for Mother's Day - two of them from your Dambuster series. Absolutely stunning!

and

"WOW! I have to say, it was quite emotional for me when I opened your e-mail. I don't know what to say - I suppose 'thank you', for openers! It is my birthday tomorrow and I can't think of a better present than to see my Dad's aircraft represented in this way. You don't often see the Wimpy in artwork, let alone one from a 'lowly' OTU. I would like to think it is a reminder of all those young men who never made it to a squadron. Thank you, again, Gary. My Dad would be so proud to see his crew remembered in this way."
– Vickers Wellington (commissioned) prints buyer, England. Who commissioned a further two pictures, and was kind enough to write online:

"The three Wellington prints that Gary has customised for me are particularly meaningful. The first was a group of Wimpys in a blue sky and fluffy clouds setting. This is my 'what if' print. What if my dad's aircraft had found its way home? The second print shows it flying through a dramatic sky. The night of my dad's doomed op, many were recalled due to worsening weather. My dad's aircraft never received the signal and carried on to the target. The last print could well show what the prelude to the demise of R1450 might have been like. The aircraft going into a corkscrew as my dad fired at the nightfighter that attacked them. It's a strange feeling to have 'photographs' of my dad's aircraft but wonderful, too."

"[The print] arrived yesterday, thank you very much. I'm very impressed with the service and the wonderful photography too!I had a look via your link at your other work online. Amazing! Have recommended it to some other arty people. I was born in Bucks, grew up there but moved away with the RAF. Miss the beautiful countryside, rolling hills and pastoral scenes!! It is lovely to see your photos! Keep up the good work!"
