Galaxies in Ursa Major
The larger spiral galaxy is NGC 3178, which may have been distorted by the smaller one, NGC 3729 - and there is a compact galaxy cluster known as Hickson 56. This image comprises almost four hours of exposures taken from Colchester UK on a ZWO ASI585MC camera with Baader Mk III MPCC coma corrector and ZWO UV/IR cut filter, on a Sky-Watcher Explorer 150p and EQ5 Pro mount, via Stellarmate Plus in Kstars/Ekos. Stacked in AstroPixelProcessor, cropped and adjusted in Lightroom, with Topaz DeNoise AI.
