Lancaster over the Derwent Dam
Dwarfed by the millstone grit mass of the dam, a Lancaster bomber flies between the towers at the lower of the Derwent Reservoir in the Peak District of England: one of the locations used by 617 Squadron when training for the operation against German dams in 1943, and regularly used in commemorative flypasts by the RAF Memorial Flight.
