Al Deere in Spitfire Kiwi III

Spitfire Mk 1a R6981 KL-B with 54 Squadron as flown by New Zealand fighter ace Flight Lieutenant Al Deere DFC. He gave it the name 'Kiwi III'. Depicted in action over the Thames Estuary during the Battle of Britain on 24 July 1940.

This picture was commissioned for the RAF Memorial Flight Yearbook 2018. Their Spitfire P7350 is being repainted in this livery.
