Lancaster PA474 as AR-L "Leader"

The RAF Memorial Flight's venerable Avro Lancaster bomber, serial number PA474, in the colours of W5005 AR-L "Leader" of 460 Squadron RAAF in 1943. The distinctive nose art featured a kangaroo in wellington boots playing bagpipes, denoting the tri-national nature of the aircraft's crew in September 1943.
