Avro Lancaster PA474 "City of Lincoln", operated by the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, depicted flying over its 'home' city with Lincoln Cathedral below. It carries the markings of 50 Squadron Lancaster VN-T, representing the aircraft flown by FO Douglas Millikin DFC – grandfather of the BBMF's former Officer Commanding, Squadron Leader Andy "Milli" Millikin, on 27 of his first tour of 30 operations.

This picture incorporates an aerial view of Lincoln by Ian Bracegirdle, adapted under a commercial licence.
