View of Silbury Hill
A view over fields to Silbury Hill in Wiltshire, part of the complex of Neolithic monuments around Avebury. The prehistoric chalk hill is manmade, but so far has resisted all attempts to decide definitively why it was constructed. It is 39 m (129 ft) high, making it the tallest such mound in Europe and one of the largest in the world.
