Golden Ball, West Wycombe
The golden ball, 8ft in diameter and covered in gold leaf, is a prominent landmark atop St Lawrence's Church, West Wycombe, along with the hexagonal mausoleum. Sir Francis Dashwood and other members of his "Hell-Fire Club" met in caves in the chalk hillside in the 18th Century.
