Taking the fight to the enemy
This picture depicts Wellington R1450, JS-Y1 with 16 Operational Training Unit (OTU), among the bomber stream leaving England for an operation in occupied Europe. The Wellington was the mainstay of RAF Bomber Command's effort in WWII until superseded by bigger, four-engined aircraft.
