Sorpe Dam panorama
The Sorpe Dam (German: Sorpetalsperre) and the village of Langscheid beyond, in the district of Hochsauerland in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. A target of the RAF's 617 'Dambusters' Squadron on the night of 16/17 May 1943, it was damaged but not breached.
